CTC Director Appointed by State Senate to Advisory Commission on Special Education

On 3/26/08 CTC executive director, Christina Michel-Albers, was appointed by the California State Senate to serve a 4-year term as a commissioner on the State's Advisory Commission on Special Education. The commission provides recommendations and advice to the State Board of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Legislature, and the Governor in new or continuing areas of research, program development and evaluation in California special education. Christina Michel-Albers is a licensed speech-language pathologist that has been working at CTC since 1998, and serving as the director since 2003.
